I bought this to apply to a loveseat cover on an Italian piece of furniture. It doesn't fit perfectly and my cats play with it but they can't harm the loveseat. On an American item with flat, 90 degree sides - it would work perfectly.

It has the best sticky material, but stays put better when you use pins. It works as expected. My cat loves to scratch the furniture and hates the stuff and doesn't even try to scratch it anymore. That alone is worth its weight in gold.

I've ordered several packages of these from the same seller, and I'm pleased with the look & performance of the protective film. If you carefully install it uniformly and with the twist pins lined up straight, it doesn't detract from the look of your furniture. It's been on for over a year without any problems or loss of adhesion.
The cats have not bothered the chairs since I applied this! They ruined another set of chairs before these, but I wised up and put the protective film on when the chairs were new and before any damage was done.

It's sticky, pin. This product perfectly meets my needs. I am very happy with the result. They are visible, but not prominent. Most people who come by don't even notice it's there. I also like that it has lots of different sized parts. I feel like I'll never run out and have a replacement.

Our cat has destroyed one side of an antique love seat. I wanted to keep her from ruining the other side AND from continuing to claw the ripped side. This product seems to be working great! She has not touched either side since I put it on. It was easy to install and adjust to cover exactly the area I wanted to protect and between the adhesion and the upholstery tacks, it has stayed in place. It is much less noticeable than I thought it would be as well. It was VERY worth the money and I will definitely use it on other furniture.

I really liked these sticky protectors for my vinyl/pleather couch. My cat stopped her attempts to scratch. They are pretty conspicuous because of the shine, but I'd rather have shiny corners than permanent damage to my beautiful new red couch. The packaging is a plain brown cardboard box with no labels containing the sheets of large stickers rolled up together. My one warning is that all fingerprints will show up if you touch the sticky side, and once you have adhered it, there will be very visible white areas if you try to remove it and put it down again. Overall very pleased.

I purchased a fabric covered bed frame and my cat just loved to scratch his claws on it. Purchased these and didn't have any issues. They are extremely sticky. I did not use the tacks to keep them into place because of it. Very easy to cut and manipulate to adhere it how you needed. I only had them on for several months, but they came up without issue.

I did a lot of research before chosing these couch protectors. I needed something that would stick, and keep my cats from scratching the back of the couch.
I am happy with them, as the cats don't seem to be interested in scratching the couch anymore. That's the biggest pro, obviously.
The cons are that they're not as sticky as I'd hoped they would be. They do require the little racks that come with them to keep in place more securely. That said, the tacks fall loose at times, and kind of hang there. Which could be dangerous if someone steps on them barefoot, or if one of the pets decides to make them into a toy.
I also wish that more came in the package for the price. I've already ordered 2 packs, and I'll need to order a 3rd to cover the back of the couch.
I have an L shaped couch from Pottery Barn, if that gives an idea of size and marterial.
Overall though, better than my cats continuing to destroy a $5000 piece of furniture (I paid half for it... but still).

If only I had purchased these sooner I would have saved tons of uninterrupted time relaxing instead of continuously trying to redirect my cats away from using my couch as a scratching post, and saved gallons of water by not having to refill the dreaded "Squirt Bottle"! Super easy to attach (while my cats of course watched with suspicious curiosity). And the satisfaction of that first time they tried to go for a good scratch, only to have their Lovley sharp clawed paws slip slooooowly with no catch. HA!! I WON! My review, All the stars and then some more for the blissful content. Cats review, they are not pleased, currently not speaking to me, and I am certain will plot their revenge. Wish me luck!! Lol!

We have put these on all carpet in all the doorways. The cats seem to gravitate to these areas to scratch and they are not happy not being able to scratch there anymore. They can't scratch through these. We have put them on the sides of furniture and a door they seem to want to scratch. The adhesion is good. They stay in place once placed. A little getting used to the noise when stepping on them but well worth it to save the carpet. They work.

EDIT: Seller reached out with stellar customer service and offered a replacement.Let me start this by saying I DEEP cleaned my couches first. These things just didn't stick. I even tried this on a brand new, out of the box, faux-leather seat, and these things just wouldn't stick to save their lives. This is the worst because now my cat has an adhesive addiction and licks all the corners that are coming up.

I like that this comes with a 10pack of sheets that you can easily cut to customize for any area. They are very easy to install-just peel and stick. They are not as thick as I thought they would be but they seem to still protect the furniture. I think it took my cat by surprise when he went to scratch the side of the couch. I have suede furniture and so far they have stuck on pretty well-none have fallen off. The plastic is clear so other than the shine from the sun, you still see your furniture color through them and they’re not as obvious as you would think. So far they seem to have done the job and I would recommend them. And they come off easily if you ever want to take them off, but they probably wouldn’t re-stick somewhere else very well after.

These are a good investment. I got these to protect a new couch and my cat isn't scratching it anymore because... he can't. I'm not convinced that these are teaching him to NOT scratch, but they are certainly protecting the couch - which is the point. Not sure if I'll take them off anytime soon (have had them about three weeks), although others have said that the cat learned after a while to not scratch at all.My only real wish is that they were more like a roll rather than individual pieces. I had to use five to go the whole way across the side of the couch. I did cut up a few for smaller places, which was nice. No harm done to the fabric on my couch after I re-positioned them a few times and they're still sticky. I also don't mind that they're not completely transparent - yes, you can tell that they're there, but they look better than the couch being ripped to shreds.Overall, they're a good value and are doing the job!

Exactly as expected. My cat is still a jerk, and will try to scratch anything she can. This product works though for deterring scratching in the common spots. If I could cover the whole couch in this product I would, but that isn't plausible.

While these do work well to keep my cats from clawing on my furniture they aren’t sticky enough to stay put very long. Thankfully I only have two places where I need a single panel because two have already fallen off and I’ve had to replace with a new one.

It definitely helps discourage clawing. My cat shows me where I need to put them as she tries to find new areas to claw. They are sticky and holding up well. They are clear and not that noticeable. Got plenty left over to continue using as my cat shows me where to put them. I bought my cat a cat scratcher so she doesn't feel too depressed.

I have two cats who are incredibly active and love scratching up every single piece of furniture in the house, despite having multiple scratching posts for that very purpose. This is the first time I've ever tried a furniture protector; what I loved about it is that it's incredibly easy to cut to your furniture's dimensions and apply. I also love how the transparency doesn't take away from the look and feel of our furniture, thus ruining the overall aesthetic of the room. These cat scratch furniture protectors have been working great on our couch. I cut strips and placed them on the areas our cat likes to sharpen her paws. So far, they have been a wonderful deterrent. She walks by the couch now and actually uses her scratching post.

It's made if thick durable material and easy to put on. I just bought a new couches and naturally my cats started scratching. I purchased these and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the strips. They were super easy to apply and I loved that I could simply cut the sheets myself to match the shapes and sizes I needed to fit my couch. I placed a furniture slip cover over so that the plastic isn't visible but that was just my preference. My cats immediately tried scratching again and slid right off the lol!!!! It was hilarious. All it took was that one time and they learned their lesson. It's been about a month since I applied the product and so far my cats haven't even tried to scratch up my couch again.

My 9 week old kitten LOVES to climb up my headboard. She was only here a couple of days before I got these, but she did some damage to it. Since I got these she can’t climb it anymore. I cut it into strips so that I could apply only to the parts she climbed. It’s noticeable, despite being totally clear, but that really doesn’t bother me.

If you do not have time to train your cat and you want to protect your furniture, this is a very fast solution. The sheets come in 10 x 17 inch size, so it is a rather large size to fit easily across the back of a chair or on a carpeted step. Yes, you can still see it even though it is sheer. But it does a very good job. Also, it is so thick the cats will NOT be able to get claws into it at all. It is solid. I tested several surfaces and feel confident about the glue not leaving a mess if I removed in the future. The only frustration I had was removing the backing. If you cut a small area on the edge to get it going, it was fine. I will buy more for several fabric chairs.

I was able to bend these around the sides of my couch with no problem. I put them on my leather couch and when I took one off it didn't remove any of the leather coloring. The adhesive is good but not so strong that it takes the dye off. They are very clear and flexible. These are a great value. They also came with some cute stickers that my daughter put on her Chromebook, and a little sheet of cat quotes. Cute!

I got these to replace the vinal I had pinned to my chairs and couch.The sheets are a nice size and decent thickness.They don't leave a residue and unfortunately don't stick to velvet well. Overnight all the pieces came off the velvet fabric on one side.Sticking fine to the couch which is smoother cotton fabric. (Pics 1&2)I'm having to use a pin in the middle of each sheet on each side to keep them on my velvet chairs. At least I'm using fewer of the pins and the sheets cover a larger area than the vinal I was using.An upgrade even though it's not exactly what I was expecting.

This is a great solution for stopping cats from scratching on the furnitures. I got a new ottoman recently, the first reaction of my cats were scratching on it. Then I got this cat scratch furniture protection pad and problem solved. It comes with 10 clear cat scratch couch protector pad. Which was good enough to cover whole ottoman. I hope my cats will learn to not scratch on the furnitures with those.

With three cats and a new sofa, these were a must-have item for me.They stuck to our leather sofa easily, but they have peeled up in a few spots, and have needed me to press them firmly back on. The large sheets can be cut to whatever size and shape you need. They peel off easily, too.We have had our sofa for two weeks and so far the cats have left it alone. They had destroyed our last sofa. That one was not leather, so I’m not sure if that is a factor as well though.One negative is that even though these are clear, there’s a bit of a shine to them, so they are pretty noticeable.I hope you have found my review to be helpful.

Quick review since I must admit these really work!At first I was reluctant to use them because of the adhesive. But the glue it’s mild enough to not leave glue behind or damage the color since I also used it on my leather sofa. No more cat claw marks on the couch! Now to see if I can get one to protect the sofa from my kids!

This product is easy to apply to my furniture. It does stop my cat from scratching in all the places that I've placed these protective sheets. It's saving my expensive couch from further damage. It sticks best to flat surfaces on the furniture. If it's a rounded surface, the edges can pop up, but it still works fine! Great product overall.

I have three cats and each one of the them is terrible for scratching the sides of my couches as well as door frames. These protectors have taken care of my couch problem! They adhere perfectly, and they’re clear so you can still see your couch. My cats lost all interest in trying to claw my couches once I applied these. I am seriously considering cutting them in strips and wrapping my door frames with them too! I would recommend these to anyone who is having the same issue.

I searched for a while to try to find a product that would stick without the pins. This sticks so well! Unfortunately, my cat still scratches the uncovered areas, but that is not the product's fault. I did A LOT searching for something to stop my jerk of a cat from digging his claws in my new dining chairs. I am not a fan of spraying him with water so I really needed something. As you can see from the photos, he was winning this war.I put the Matte Protectors on and the adhesive works pretty well on my mixed material chairs. (I have no idea what combo they used on these chairs. NGL).I was able to reposition the strips with no issue and they do a great job of also COVERING the scratches and little holes. The Matte finish is almost unnoticeable unless you're really looking for it. I am going to buy more to properly cover the entire back of my chairs, but I'm very excited it isn't ugly!My advice is definitely measure before you start cutting and applying so you cover the surface the way you want. I'll update if anything drastically changes. 5 stars..... for now.

I've had others that didn't adhere properly to the pair of chairs I needed to protect as I needed to do a wrap. These also have clear pins that help hold the product in place. They don't detract from the beauty of my slipper chairs as you can cut the size you need.

I think the sheets alone are great. They are semi transparent so they aren’t as obvious but are still visible on furniture. I have a cloth (canvas) couch and they adhere to that with no issue. Some of them are peeling at the corners but not terribly. I could not for the life of me get the pins to work. They were very flimsy and often the sheets would be placed at the edge or my sofa where there was not enough padding to screw in the pins fully.

This product seems to deter my cat. The adhesive is not very sticky, hence the upholstery pins. I have researched and read hundreds of reviews and have come to the conclusion that this is the cheapest way to protect my new furniture short of declawing my cat, which is inhumane. I have a regular size soft and 1 slipper chair(no arms) and had to purchase 2 packs just to cover the sides of the sofa and sides and back of the chair. Also the matte finish is more appealing finish than the shiny, just my opinion.

This product works well for protecting the lower portion of furniture from scratches. It was easy to install and the coils used to secure the protectors did not damage the fabric and were easily removed. We had enough for a cotton damask loveseat and a velour settee. The protectors are discreet and functions.

These stick perfectly fine to my couch without the tacks. I didn’t want to use the tacks for fear of leaving holes in the fabric. They’ve been on for about a month now for both couches and there is no peeling, unsticking, and NO KITTY SCRATCHES!

These sheets aren't as easy to overlook on my darker couch as I'd hoped, but they stay in place and keep the cats from scratching. I didn't have to cut the sheets since the set has three different sizes that worked quite well with my couch. I used the upholstery pins to help secure some of the corners and found that I had to press a few down to fit areas with lighter padding (compressing the spiral). I wish I'd tried these sooner as it seems a simple solution for energetic cats.

Not much adhesion to furniture without attaching pins which do not always go into the furniture easily. Plastic is heavy duty and does prevent scratching. Had to cut the plastic to fit some pieces of furniture. May or may not buy again.

Love this product, I’d install them all over my couch to save it from the claws of my cat but then I’d probably just slide off the couch. It’s strong adherence and it keeps the cats away.
